One of the aspects I enjoy about this series is using the patterns that show up in the ink to inform the rest of the drawing. The curvy tree fit in so well with the way the ink flow happened on this piece.

The beauty in the upside down is my most extensive collection, I love it so much! The ink can create such beautiful plant like silhouettes and the idea of an upside down landscape is so fun. It also captures the essence of what it is like when life is turned upside down, confusing, but still holding the possibility of intense beauty.
Due to the nature of the metallics - the color can shift depending on the angle.
